Elbow

TENNIS & GOLF ELBOW

People suffering from tennis or golfer’s elbow often have a difficult time performing simple everyday tasks such as opening the door. Common approaches to treating tennis elbow include destructive steroid injections or invasive elbow surgery.

During Stem Cell Recruitment Therapy®, your physician will use image guidance to inject into the highly inflamed areas of your elbow joint to help repair and improve the function of your damaged tissue while helping to reduce or eliminate pain.

TOMMY JOHN

Tommy John Surgery is a name for surgery to reconstruct the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL), the ligament that holds the elbow together and stabilizes it. Injuries to the UCL are especially common in baseball among pitchers due to the incredible physical strain caused to the arm by pitching. The common treatment for pitchers suffering from tears in their UCL has been the Tommy John Surgery, a procedure that involves drilling holes in the ulna and the humerus and attaching a graft tendon taken from elsewhere in the body. The recovery process is very long and painful. Pitchers can typically begin throwing again after 18 weeks and will usually miss a full year in recovery.

During Stem Cell Recruitment Therapy®, your physician will use image guidance to inject into the highly inflamed areas of your ulnar collateral ligament to help repair and improve the function of your damaged tissue while helping to reduce or eliminate pain.
